EXCURSION TO NATIONAL PARK KRKA
National Park Krka are the biggest and most famous waterfalls in whole Dalmatia and are situated 20 km from Sibenik. With it’s 7 beautiful waterfalls and total length of 242 m, river Krka is a real beauty. It is a natural and well maintained eco-system almost untouched by human hand, and it is unavoidable destination for all visitors. Waterfalls Krka with plenty of water, fish and water plants, offer every visitor a true experience of nature’s power and beauty.
On the left bank of Krka river are situated small mills which are used to grind wheat and corn. These small mills are situated on the waterfalls and some of those are still in use today. Roški slap turns the river into an elongated lake Visovac. In the middle of the lake is the island Visovac where is a church and a Franciscan monastery that lake scenery adds to secrecy.
One of the most beautiful and unusual waterfall is Skradinski buk. Extremely interesting, because of the rich and distinctive vegetation, mills and various flora and fauna is waterfall called Roški slap. Krka waterfalls are truly attractive to nature lovers, those interested in folk customs, and anyone who wants to enjoy the gastronomic and cultural offer.

It is possible to organize a bus trip for 4 and more persons any day starting from middle of March, till end of October. The price is not fixed. It is determined based on the number of people.
